The C.T.R. laboratory operates mainly in the engineering, geotechnical and environmental sectors.
C.T.R. is specialized in the research of Asbestos and Glass Fibers (FAV) and in laboratory and in situ tests on construction materials. It carries out physical-mechanical, metallographic and chemical tests aimed at characterizing steels and alloys and welding qualifications.
C.T.R. performs failure analysis on metal components to identify the causes of breakages and failures and accelerated corrosion and aging tests: salt spray tests, climatic chamber and UV tests. It is equipped with an internal workshop for the processing of specimens and equipment to support the testing activity.
