The main activity of the Biochem laboratory is based on in vitro and in vivo safety and efficacy tests and on Medical Devices.
In particular, it carries out biocompatibility analysis according to ISO 10993 on Medical Devices such as devices, software, systems, reagents, materials intended by the manufacturer to be used on humans, alone or in combination, for one or more specific medical uses.
Biochem also operates in the Pharma and Cosmetics sectors. The laboratory carries out trials and tests on packaging in contact with food and medical devices and carries out the evaluation of controlled environments and processes also applicable to the hospital sector according to ISPESL guidelines.
